the NuShield Affiliate Program
I don't have
a web site. Can I still participate in the affiliate program?
Yes!
You may use the e-mail option to recommend NuShield products to
people you know by placing an affiliate link in e-mail messages.
Some affiliates choose to send an e-mail to a friend specifically
to recommend NuShield screen protectors; others use the link as
an e-mail signature so that every message they send is a chance
to earn commissions. Please note that placing your NuShield affiliate
link in spam messages is not permitted and will result in termination
of your affiliate account and the forfeiture of any accrued referral
fees.
Does it cost
anything to join?
There
is no charge to join our affiliate program.
I am based
outside of the United States. Can I still become an affiliate?
Yes
you can. Foreign affiliates please keep in mind that payment checks
are issued in U.S. dollars from a US bank.
Tax Reporting
The affiliate
application has a line for a Social Security Number. I am running
a business that has a Federal Employer Identification Number. Do
I enter it in the same space?
Yes.
You can enter your EIN on the line for Social Security Number.
Do I need
to provide my Social Security Number (or tax ID number)?
If
you are in the U.S., you must provide this information in order
for your commission checks to be issued. The number is optional
only for non-U.S. affiliates.
Do you report
affiliate earnings to the IRS?
For
U.S. affiliates, IRS regulations require us to issue Form 1099 for
annual affiliate payments totaling $600.00 or more.
Creating Links
Can I make
my own text links to put on my web site?
Yes!
Such links have the potential to be much more effective than banner
links. We encourage you to write a short article promoting the NuShield
screen protectors to your specific audience - be sure to include
your six-digit affiliate code in your affiliate links to earn commissions
from the sales you refer.
How can I
be sure that my affiliate links are working properly?
Paste
the URL of your link into the address box of your web browser or
click on the link on your web site. If you have set up your affiliate
code properly, you will be taken to the NuShield web site. If you
want to be absolutely sure that you will receive credit for sales
referred through your link, log into your Interneka account and
view your statistics and you should see that the "hit"
was recorded. Note that repeated clicks from the same computer that
are spaced less than one minute apart will not be counted.
Referral Fees
I just noticed
that I made an error in my affiliate link. Is there any way to get
credit on sales referred from the bad link?
Unfortunately,
we have no way to track referrals if the link was improperly formatted.
For this reason, we strongly encourage you to test each link before
implementing it, logging into your Interneka account to make sure
that clicks are being logged. If clicks are being logged, then you
can be assured that your link is properly set up.
I would like
to withdraw from the program but have accrued less than $30 in referral
fees. Will I still get paid?
As described in the affiliate agreement, a $5.00 processing
fee will be deducted from payments less than $30. You will be paid
according to the normal schedule unless the processing fee eliminates
your balance.
