U.S. Army Tests NuShield to Protect Friend/Foe Identifier Device
The U.S. Army is currently field testing an electronic device that can identity Friends and Enemy forces in the field of battle. These devices are mounted in various vehicles such as Humvees, Abrams A1 tanks and Bradley troop carriers.

These devices are very expensive and NuShield was approached to create a film that helps to reduce glare and protect the touch screen from scratching. The film had to work in all conditions such as extreme temperatures, dusty terrain, rain forest, etc. It also had to be field mounted, removed, cleaned, and reinstalled.

To meet this challenge NuShield created a film with glare protected coating that met all the specifications and performed to the satisfaction of the U.S. Army.
