Bensalem, Pa. – NuShield, Inc., the leading manufacturer of screen protectors in the U.S. is now offering its antiglare screen protector film for large size LCD and Plasma televisions up to 50 inch diagonal to protect against scratches from pets or crayon marks from small children.
The LCD screen on these large televisions are susceptible to damage because unlike glass on the old cathode ray tube TVs, the LCD and Plasma screens are softer and can easily scratch. NuShield films fit almost all brands of TV on the market today and the company will work with its customers to create custom sizes when necessary without additional charge to the customer.
Because these TVs are usually placed 36” above the floor, pets such as cats and dogs can stand on their hind legs and claw at the screen, thereby causing irreversible damage that is NOT covered by manufacturer’s warranty. It is the same result with small children who use crayons or magic markers to write on the screen, which is very difficult to remove.
The NuShield antiglare screen protector is made of a super thin, yet durable plastic manufactured using a patented technology that provides extended protection against dust, scratches and gouges. The film is installed using a clear, double sided adhesive tape around the edge of the film. The NuShield film can be cleaned easily with various detergents and even rubbing alcohol to remove ink from the surface.
NuShield screens are abrasion and chemical resistant and provide a high degree of clarity and a non-reflective surface. NuShield screens have been designed to work with touch screens for an extended period of time without any distortion to the image.
NuShield also provides protective films for various touch screen devices used in industrial applications, other LCD monitors, laptops, GPS devices and car navigation displays. NuShield films can be modified to work with sealed and waterproofed NEMA rated devices.
NuShield Inc., based in Bensalem, PA, has been the leading provider of screen protectors for LCD touch screens used in electronic devices since 1998 and is sold directly to consumers on its website or through distributors worldwide.
