NuShield Antiglare Screen Protector Helps Patients with Sjogren’s Syndrome Block UVB Rays

Bensalem, Pa. – NuShield, Inc. is pleased to announce that its antiglare screen protector film helps to bring relief to patients suffering from Sjogren’s Syndrome by filtering out 99% of UVB light from reaching the LCD screen or bouncing back to the eyes of the user. By placing a NuShield antiglare screen protector film in front of the LCD screen, the UVB light is filtered out and eliminated.

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun and other light sources can affect Sjögren’s patients, leading to skin rashes, disease flares, eye sensitivity and pain. They are not allowed to walk outside for extensive periods during daylight or near any light source that emits UVB light. As a result, it is very hard for patients to use computers for an extended period of time.

NuShield screen protectors are made of a super thin, durable plastic manufactured using a patented technology that provides extended protection against abrasion and chemical resistant and provide a high degree of clarity and a non-reflective surface. NuShield screens have been designed to work with touch screens for an extended period of time without any distortion to the image.

NuShield Inc., based in Bensalem, PA, has been the leading provider of screen protectors for LCD touch screens used in electronic devices since 1998 and is sold directly to consumers on its website or through distributors worldwide.
