Bensalem, Pa. – NuShield, Inc., is pleased to announce that its new DayVue antireflective film is now available to protect book reader devices from sun glare and UV rays. This full screen film even allows users to wear polarized sunglasses or look at the device from an angle and still read the display.
NuShield currently offers films for the following devices: Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, iRex Iliad, Pandigital Novel, and Sony Reader. NuShield can also custom cut its film to fit any other devices.
Unlike clear films that turn into mirrors when exposed to sunlight, or antiglare films that “blank out” under bright conditions that are currently on the market the NuShield DayVue cancels glare and makes it possible for the user to see the screen. The film provides brightness enhancement, high contrast, high durability and high visibility. The superb glare canceling effect makes the LCD screen easy to see. NuShield DayVue has a slight adhesive backing which holds the film on the screen. This allows for installation on flat LCD screen surfaces. The film filters out 99% of UV light from reaching the screen or reflecting back to the eyes.
